Effigerm Wound Care Hydrogel – Hypochlorous Acid Wound Gel – 250ml
Effigerm Wound Care Hydrogel is a Class IIa CE-marked medical device for the cleansing, debriding and moisturising of minor wounds. Formulated with hypochlorous acid (HOCl), the gel mimics the body's own immune response to support a clean wound environment and help prevent biofilm formation.
Unlike a spray, the hydrogel formulation stays in place on the wound, providing continuous moisture and protection without running off. It is suitable for the management of minor skin abrasions, lacerations, irritations, cuts, burns and intact skin, and can be used to moisten wound dressings and loosen crusted dressings for easier, less painful changes.
The formula is pH neutral, hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested. It is free from alcohol, triclosan, preservatives and perfumes, is suitable for use from birth, and is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. No rubbing or rinsing is required.
At 250ml, this is the larger presentation, well suited to clinic use or to retail to patients for ongoing home wound care.
Ingredients: 0.016% Hypochlorous Acid, Ionised Water, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Magnesium Fluorosilicate Gel, Monosodium Phosphate.
Store at room temperature (maximum 25°C), away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not store below 4°C. Recap after each use. Keep out of reach of children.
