Effigerm Wound Care Solution – Hypochlorous Acid Wound Irrigation – 1 Litre
Effigerm Wound Care Solution is a Class IIa CE-marked medical device formulated with hypochlorous acid (HOCl), which mimics the body's own immune response. It is an all-round product for pre- and post-skin preparation, the cleaning of clinical surfaces, and wound irrigation.
As a wound irrigation solution, it cleanses, rinses and moisturises minor wounds, helping to flush out irritants associated with wound malodour and to prevent biofilm formation. It is suitable for the management of minor skin abrasions, lacerations, irritations, cuts, burns and intact skin, and can also be used to moisten wound dressings and loosen crusted dressings.
The formula is pH neutral, hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested. It is free from alcohol, triclosan, preservatives and perfumes, is suitable for use from birth, and is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The 1 litre presentation is the largest size, suited to higher-volume clinic use and frequent skin preparation and surface cleaning.
Ingredients: 0.016% Hypochlorous Acid. Excipients: Ionised Water, Sodium Chloride.
Store at room temperature (maximum 25°C), away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not store below 4°C. Recap after each use. Keep out of reach of children.
